Welcome to Lollapalooza Berlin …
… one of the most popular and established festival brands worldwide, whose sold-out second edition on 10th and 11th September 2016 turned the event into the biggest inner-city festival on the German festival circuit.
70,000+ festival-goers daily were invited to experience the ‘World of Lolla Berlin’. Besides cheers and marvelling eyes on and off the stages, the festival left nothing to be desired: walk-in open-air galleries by URBAN NATION containing art and installations, artistry, acrobatics, street theatre at the Lolla Fun Fair, promoting sustainability at Der Grüne Kiez (The Green Neighbourhood) and an adventure world for the little ones, Kidzapalooza – when it comes to entertainment, Lollapalooza certainly raises the bar. Riddled with a distinguished selection of food vendors, wine bars and a myriad of surprises, Lollapalooza Berlin undoubtedly marks the German capital’s event highlight of the year.
The festival’s premiere, September 12 and 13, 2015, was already awarded with two European Festival Awards for ‘Best New Festival’ and ‘Promoter Of The Year’. Its second edition is also in the running for ‘Best Major Festival’.
In the two previous years Radiohead, Muse, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kings Of Leon, Major Lazer, Seeed, Beatsteaks, Paul Kalkbrenner, New Order, Tame Impala, Sam Smith, The Libertines and many more other (inter-)national top acts made the crowd cheer. Click here for the full lineup history.
